London Office Organises Fundraiser

Colossus, a Caymanite sculpture by Horacio Esteban, sponsored by the McCoy Prize The Cayman Islands Government Office in London, in conjunction with the 'Friends of Cayman' is planning a fundraising dinner and auction to aid in reconstruction.

The dinner, hosted by Nigel Evans MP, Vice Chairman of the All Party Parliamentary Group for the Cayman Islands, will be held at the Palace of Westminster on Friday, 25 February 2005.

A number of institutions and individuals have sponsored £2,000 tables to support this event, which is now fully booked. The occasion will give those associated with the Cayman Islands an opportunity to contribute to the continuing recovery effort.

Mrs Jennifer Dilbert, the Cayman Islands Government Representative in the UK, said that she was thrilled by the overwhelming response and expressed her great thanks to members of her vibrant and committed team for their hard work in preparing for this event.
