Women's Work Honoured

A reception this week, hosted by His Excellency the Governor Bruce Dinwiddy CMG and Mrs. Emma Dinwiddy (Women's Resource Centre Patron), was a highlight at the closing of Honouring Women Month.

This function was a way to recognise those individuals, organizations, and businesses that give their time, resources, and financial and moral support to the Women's Resource Centre (WRC) not only during Honouring Women Month but throughout the year.

With the theme of ‘Resilient Mind, Body & Spirit,’ Honouring Women Month 2005 consisted of a wide variety of events such as educational workshops, a walk/run, a health screening and a poetry/photo contest.
