C&W Restoration

Despite Cable and Wireless’ confirmed restoration of telephone landlines in several districts, customers may still be without service due to a fault occurring on their specific lines. These faults are likely related to line corrosion caused by salt water and need to be reported by calling 611.

Customers with previously logged faults should also expect calls from C&W personnel verifying faults and confirming satisfaction of service. Calls will be made from 5 pm – 9 pm weekdays, 8 am to 9 pm Saturdays, and noon to 6 pm on Sundays.

C&W also wants to remind customers that they’ve discontinued internal wiring services for customers several years ago. Instead, C&W now works closely with the University College of Cayman Islands to institute proper certification of electricians as qualified Telecom Internal Wiring Experts.
