- C&W Restoration
- Customers may still be without service due to faults occurring on their specific lines that are likely related to line corrosion caused by salt water and need to be reported by calling 611.
- Clean Up Schedule
- MC Restoration will be making the third and final pass through George Town and Bodden Town between Monday, 31 January and Friday, 18 February.

- More on Landfill's Oil Spill
- Representatives from the National Spill Control School of Texas A&M will visit next to advise on further measures necessary to complete remediation, prevent future incidents, and ensure long-term monitoring.

- The National Recovery Fund has intensified local fundraising efforts to continue enabling those affected by Hurricane Ivan to repair or rebuild.

- The first two support groups of this community-based support programme are scheduled to begin meeting this week.
- Occupants Receive Trailer Keys
- The first trailer home occupants will receive their keys today (Friday, 28 January) in a ceremony taking place at 4pm at the Ed Bush Sports Field in West Bay.

- The LoGB outlined eight initiatives in December. The first has been completed and the second is being worked on.
- Post-Ivan Challenges
- Excerpts from the LoGB’s speech to the Business Outlook Forum, including: “We expect a slight lift in the Consumer Price Index” and “…expenses will result in government recording an overall deficit in the 2004/5 fiscal year”.
- Replanting Drive
- Agriculture Day on Ash Wednesday will offer residents an opportunity to purchase replacement plants and trees and even some vegetable seedlings.
- Route Change
- The Express Bus will no longer run the Walkers Road/South Sound morning route.
- Sand Restoration
- DoE is responsible for the reallocation; MC Restoration is doing the sifting and moving with assistance from district work crews.
- School Attendance Up
- While all Cayman Brac schools gained additional students, approximately 300 of those who sought refuge there have since returned to Grand Cayman.
- Shelter Update
- DCFS is continuing its relocation of those in need of housing, following the December closure of the last shelter.
