HE & LoGB Welcome CaymanSpirit

HE Bruce H. Dinwiddy, CMG and LoGB Mckeeva Bush, OBE Welcome to the first edition of CaymanSpirit.

On Monday we released a joint statement. In it we said; “Throughout the long hours of the hurricane and in the immediate difficult days that followed, our community stood resolute, and has now emerged with determination to rebuild stronger and better than before.”

CaymanSpirit is one of Government’s contributions to that rebuilding effort, our response to the community’s rightful demand to be kept fully informed during these challenging times. As we restore our homes and businesses, CaymanSpirit will help us all channel our energy by providing the information you need to know— whether from the Cabinet, the Cayman Islands Recovery Operation, Government ministries and departments, or the private sector and community groups.

The country is working together to address our top priorities—debris management and housing. We appreciate the cooperation between the public and private sectors and the initiative and drive of residents. We need to sustain this effort over the coming months.

Please read and enjoy the first edition of the CaymanSpirit. Share it with your family and friends. Keep a copy handy so you can refer to it for schedules and updates. Thank-you for all you’ve done and pray for the Lord’s blessings on our continuing efforts.
