Chamber of Commerce Offers Free Courses

In recognition of business needs and the personal trauma that many people may suffer as a result of Hurricane Ivan, the Chamber of Commerce has announced a serious of free forums and workshops, beginning next week.

Business forums, which take place from 3:30 to 5:00 p.m. on the scheduled dates, range from “Making Order out of Chaos” (Understanding your entitlements under your insurance policy), on 3 Nov. to “Landlord and Tenants Issues,” on 18 Nov.

Lifestyle management workshops are: “Lifestyle Management” (Getting your emotions & energy back on track), 2 & 23 Nov.; “Moving Beyond ‘Panic Mode’” (Making sound decisions) 9 & 30 Nov.; and “Communication in the Workplace and at Home” (Taking the time needed to heal emotions) 16 Nov. and 7 Dec.
