Clean Up Cayman Hits High GearDubbed “Clean up Cayman,” the Chamber of Commerce’s campaign began on Saturday, 23 October, and will continue as long as donations are received, said C of C’s CEO Wil Pineau. The drive will expand to all of George Town and ultimately to the outer districts. Companies interested in contributing to the campaign are asked to call Ms. Kerry Forbes at the Chamber of Commerce at 949-8090. Persons interested in volunteering for weekend clean-up routes are asked to call the Chamber. Routes will be assigned and clean-up equipment and t-shirts will be provided. The Chamber wishes to thank the following companies and organisations for the generous donations received to date: Thompson Development, Uncle Bill’s Home Improvement Center, A. L. Thompson’s Home Depot, Cox Lumber Company, Progressive Distributors, Cayman Imports, AT&T, Bank of Butterfield, Maples and Calder, Rooster 101.9 FM, the Cayman Turtle Farm, Tower Marketing, Foster’s Food Fair, Digicel, Bank Austria, Cable & Wireless, Caribbean Utilities Company Ltd, Hew’s Hotel and Restaurant Supplies, members of the Heavy Equipment and Vehicle Operators Association, members of the Central Planning Authority.
