Conservatives Visit

HE the Governor with the Rt Hon Michael Ancram QC MP Three UK Members of Parliament toured Grand Cayman on Wednesday, 3 November, to see first-hand the scale of hurricane devastation. The three, Shadow Secretary of State for International Affairs, Shadow Foreign Secretary and Deputy Leader of the Opposition the Rt Hon Michael Ancram QC, MP; Shadow Minister of Foreign Affairs Mark Simmons MP; and The Lord Ashcroft were greeted by HE the Governor Mr Bruce Dinwiddy, CMG and the group’s stops included Bodden Town, Frank Sound, and South Sound.

Also on the itinerary was a meeting with Leader of Government Business the Hon. McKeeva Bush and a social occasion with the Hon Kurt Tibbetts, the Hon George McCarthy, Mr Orrett Connor, Mr Wil Pineau and Mr Connor O’Dea.
