New Buses for Lighthouse School

The Lighthouse School received two new buses on Tuesday, 14 December.

One is a specially fitted 12-seater wheelchair bus, the other is a 30-seat Coaster bus for transporting students to and from school. Plans to replace the buses were in place before the hurricane and the old buses will be utilized for other education programmes.

Government funded the Coaster vehicle, while an anonymous private donor sponsored the wheelchair bus. Principal Shari Bovell received the keys from Dale Dacres of the Department of Vehicle and Equipment Services.
